Field Trip Information
How to Sign Up
- Be sure you can go and want to go. . .cancellations are not encouraged. Refunds may not be available for trips where tickets must be purchased.
- Come to Venture and see Sheila or Michaline. Sign your name and the name of any adults attending on the field trip envelope. Any fees must be paid at time of signup.
- Indicate how you’re getting to the field trip site—-meeting there or traveling from Venture.
- Indicate if adults can drive other students and how many (if this is a private car field trip).
THURSDAY, MARCH 25TH - ATT Park Tour
- Open to All Grades
- 11:30am - 12:30pm
- $7 per person
- Only 35 tickets availiable
- Transportation from Dublin/Pleasanton BART using the 9:57am train to Embarcadero Station
Help Kick off the baseball season with a one hour private guided tour of ATT Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. Our professional tour guide will include facts of the history of baseball, the Giants, ATT Park, San Francisco Bay and more. In addition to touring public areas in the park, we'll also sit in a dugout, walk on the track behind home plate, look inside a locker room, visit a suite, see the broadcast booth, and much more. Tour begins and ends in the Giants Dugout Store, 24 Willie May Plaza, San Francisco.

FRIDAY, MAY 7 - Adventure Cat Sailing on San Francisco Bay
- All Grades
- 10am - Noon
- $15 per person
- Only 35 tickets available
- Provide own BART ticket ($11.10 r/t from Dublin)
Enjoy a 2 hour sailing from Pier 39 on the catamaran Adventure Cat. Sail past Alcatraz, the Marin Headlands, under the Golden Gate Bridge. At Kirby Cove we might see harbor seals, sea lions and many sea birds that reside there. Have lunch at Pier 39.
Meet at Pier 39, or group will leave from Dublin BART station at 8:12am. Walk from Embarcadero Station to Pier 39 (1.4 miles). Bus option available.
